As we learned from when Allstate lost its class-action lawsuit regarding the payment of overhead and profit, insurers consider it a business decision to underpay claims – it will still cost them less money to underpay and lose a class-action lawsuit than it will cost them to pay the claims fairly.
Again, the question we keep asking: if the insurers are acting properly, why do they keep losing lawsuits?
